SignaCare Waterford invites an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to lead clinical and operational teams, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee governance, admissions, workforce planning, audits and multidisciplinary collaboration with HIQA, HSE, GPs and other healthcare professionals, while promoting a safe, compassionate and high-quality work environment.

Competenze

• Registered General Nurse with current NMBI registration.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in nursing older persons in the last 6 years.
• Minimum 3 years in a health or social care management role.
• Strong leadership, organisational and decision-making skills.
• Excellent English and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Eligible for Garda Clearance and right to work in Ireland.
• Postgraduate qualification in Nursing Management or Gerontology desirable.

Mansioni

• Support the Director of Nursing in governance and management of the home.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing and social care delivery.
• Manage admissions, transitions, transfers and occupancy.
• Foster relationships with residents, families and HIQA, HSE, GPs and other professionals.
• Assist DON with HR, workforce planning, recruitment, development and performance management.
• Support day-to-day admin and operations; ensure safe, high-quality services.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
• Lead by example and promote CARA values across the workforce.
