Job summary

EPS Group is recruiting a Fabrication Draftsperson to join the Drawing Office in Mallow, Co. Cork. The role focuses on producing accurate fabrication drawings from approved GA drawings and 3D models, supporting manufacture and assembly of equipment and structures.

You will work with engineers, project teams and manufacturing personnel to ensure clear fabrication requirements and timely delivery in line with project programmes. A background in water/industrial sectors is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Drawing accuracy and ability to turn GA drawings into fabrication details.
• Fabrication knowledge across steelwork, pipework and supports.
• Attention to detail ensuring drawings are complete and clear for manufacture.
• Ability to read GA drawings, engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Familiarity with welding symbols, tolerances and material specs.
• Experience with workshops and site installation teams.
• Understanding of fabrication standards and client/standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed fabrication and workshop drawings from approved GA drawings and 3D models.
• Prepare drawings for steelwork, pipework, supports, platforms and stairs.
• Create complete drawings with dimensions, materials, weld details and finishes.
• Develop practical fabrication details while following approved GA drawings.
• Produce cut lists, BOMs and material lists as required.
• Ensure drawings support efficient manufacture, assembly, transport and install.
• Coordinate with GA Drafting and Engineering teams for clarification.
• Identify discrepancies and rectify before release for manufacture.
• Maintain drawing revisions and control superseded information.
• Support standardisation of drawing practices and templates.
• Participate in project and drawing coordination meetings.
