Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience with PLC control systems and programming.
• Knowledge of Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley products and software.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure environmental, health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping compliance.
• Maintain electrical equipment in safe working order through maintenance programs.
• Lead rapid response activities to minimize downtime and reduce equipment stoppages.
• Drive root cause analysis and long-term solutions for recurring operational and equipment issues.
• Investigate repetitive downtime trends using plant and database systems.
• Provide 24/7 support to manufacturing operations, including out-of-hours assistance.
• Manage electrical team resources, staffing, training, apprentice development, absences, and holiday coverage.
• Control departmental budgets, evaluate quotations, and oversee electrical contractor performance.
• Support engineering projects from initiation through completion while ensuring risk assessments are maintained.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve plant objectives.
