Job summary

Respond Housing Association in Waterford seeks an Early Years Quality and Compliance Specialist to lead compliance reviews, audits, and the implementation of quality practices across the service. You will oversee regulatory requirements and mentor staff to maintain high standards in early childhood education.

You will collaborate with parents, implement Síolta and Aistear frameworks, and review learning journeys to ensure positive development outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Early Education is required; Level 7 or higher desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities are expected.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office are needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with Child Care Act 1991 and related regulations.
• Perform regular internal audits and share learnings with the team.
• Maintain accurate records for Fire, Health and Safety.
• Develop a quality improvement plan based on audits and performance.
• Keep staff up to date with policies and best practices.
