Job summary

Nord Anglia International School Dublin invites flexible and professional Supply/Cover Teachers to join our on-call talent pool for the 2026/27 academic year. Roles may be short-term, long-term or maternity-related, with assignments from August 2026 to June 2027.

Applicants should hold a recognised teaching qualification and be eligible to work in Ireland. Candidates with international or IB/british curriculum experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching across relevant age groups or subject areas.
• The unrestricted right to live and work in Ireland without visa sponsorship.
• Current residence in Ireland and ability to travel to the school for assignments on short notice.
• Experience in an international, IB, British or comparable curriculum environment is ideal.
• Strong classroom management, organisation and communication skills.
• Flexible, dependable and calm approach to cover needs at short notice.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and providing an exceptional experience for every student.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute positively to the school community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school curriculum and any plans provided.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
• Support student progress by following learning objectives and guidance provided, adapting where required.
• Maintain high expectations for student learning, behaviour and wellbeing.
• Uphold school values, expectations and routines during teacher absences.
• Adapt confidently to different classes, age groups, subjects and assignment lengths.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support colleagues and school leaders.
• Provide useful handover information to the relevant teacher or leader.
• Follow all school policies and uphold safeguarding and student welfare responsibilities.]
