Job summary

EirGrid Group is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the Asset Purchase Agreement and Asset Transfer initiatives. You will oversee end-to-end activities from transaction design through due diligence to completion, coordinating legal, commercial, regulatory and technical workstreams with autonomy and strategic judgment.

The role requires senior experience in energy infrastructure transactions and the ability to drive complex negotiations, manage advisers, and present governance-ready

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience leading major energy, utilities or infrastructure procurement and asset-transfer transactions across the full lifecycle.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and external advisers across legal, commercial, regulatory, technical and governance workstreams.
• Strong practical knowledge of infrastructure transaction structures, due diligence, risk allocation and completion mechanics.
• Excellent commercial judgement and programme leadership with experience presenting to Executive/Board level.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end APA and ATP programmes for Phase 1 portfolio as transaction lead and control tower.
• Establish and run the integrated APA and asset transfer programme across transaction design, due diligence and completion.
• Coordinate legal, commercial, financial, regulatory, procurement, technical and governance workstreams.
• Direct advisers and other workstream leads; convert complex issues into clear options and governed decisions.
• Present recommendations to Executive and Board governance and ensure robust governance and regulatory alignment.

Education

Degree-level qualification in engineering, law, finance, economics, business or related discipline
