Job summary

EirGrid Group is seeking a Solicitor to provide legal expertise across commercial, contractual and procurement matters. You will advise the business in a fast-paced environment and support multi-disciplinary teams to deliver critical infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with 2–4 years post-qualification experience, preferably within the energy sector, and capable of clear, concise legal guidance for varied audiences.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with experience in commercial and contractual matters.
• 2–4 years post-qualification experience in a leading firm or in-house.
• Experience in energy infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provision of legal advice on a wide range of commercial, contractual and procurement matters.
• Provide effective guidance in accessible language tailored to the audience.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to identify issues and solutions.
• Instruct external legal advisors and manage relationships to maximise value and minimise risk.
• Participate in legal team initiatives and meetings to add value.
• Reports to: Legal Manager - Commercial & Projects
