Job summary

Medforce Recruitment is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for a dynamic children’s disability service in Athlone. The role supports 0-18 year olds within an interdisciplinary team, in partnership with families, using a family-centred approach.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team and require CORU-recognised qualification, a clean drivers licence, and strong communication skills to collaborate with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Hold an Occupational therapy qualification recognised by CORU.
• Full clean driving licence and use of a car is essential.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team for 0-18 year old children with complex needs.

Successful candidateYou will be joining a dynamic, family centred, interdisciplinary teams with excellent access to supervision and support from senior team. The successful candidates will required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs. The candidates will work in partnership with families within a family centred model.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Hold an Occupational therapy qualification recognised by the Occupational Therapy Registration Board at CORU.
• A full clean driving licence and use of a car is an essential requirement of this post.
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to work well within a team
