Job summary

PE Global Healthcare in Ireland partners with a leading Children’s Disability Team in Limerick to recruit a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering evidence-based occupational therapy to children and young people within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and current CORU registration; experience with children or disability services is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current CORU registration.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
  • Full driver's licence and access to a car is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for children and young people with complex developmental needs.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Social Workers and Medical professionals.
  • Support children and families to achieve meaningful goals that promote independence, participation and quality of life.
  • Develop individualised therapy programmes and contribute to family-centred care planning.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, service development and ongoing professional learning.

The Role
