Job summary

Surecall Medical Recruitment is seeking an occupational therapist to join a multidisciplinary autism assessment service for children up to 17 across Dublin, Cork, Galway, Dundalk and Cavan. You will perform ADOS-2, ADI-R assessments alongside a psychologist and contribute to diagnostic reports and parental feedback.

The role offers flexible hybrid working with in-person assessments and remote report writing.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy (CORU-recognised).
• Training and experience with ADOS & ADI-R.
• Confident delivering full assessment range: observations, school/home visits, parental interviews, teacher consultation, file review.
• CORU registration (Children First e-learning cert, or willingness to complete).
• Work as little as 1 day a month with full flexibility around commitments.
• In-person assessments; report writing, feedback calls and admin done remotely.

A well-established, nationally aligned autism assessment service — Panel Approved under the HSE National Bespoke Panel Arrangement — is expanding its contracted clinician panel for 2026. Clinics across Dublin, Cork, Galway, Dundalk & Cavan.

The role:

• Join a multidisciplinary team delivering diagnostic assessments for children up to 17 (HSE and private pathways)
• Paired with a Psychologist to deliver ADOS-2, ADI-R, and OT assessments
