Job summary

E‑Frontiers is seeking an experienced Data Specialist for a large public-sector body in Dublin. The role focuses on OBIEE, with exposure to Azure, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric and Purview, delivering end-to-end data knowledge across complex environments.

You will review OBIEE/ODI pipelines, document data flows, and develop runbooks and training materials while leading knowledge-transfer initiatives with SMEs and contractors. This is a hybrid, predominantly remote role with quarterly onsite days.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in data or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on OBIEE experience.
• Advanced PL/SQL skills and data warehousing/ETL exposure.
• Ability to document complex environments and transfer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review and document OBIEE and ODI processes.
• Conduct code reviews and data lineage analysis.
• Map end-to-end source-to-target data flows.
• Trace ETL transformations and dependencies.
• Develop runbooks, procedures and recovery docs.
• Lead knowledge-transfer workshops and create training materials.
• Support incident resolution and operational continuity.
• Identify gaps and single points of failure.
• Improve resilience and maintain knowledge-base content.
• Produce system and process maps and incident reports.
