Mowlam Healthcare in Kilcoole is seeking a Housekeeper/Cleaner for Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home. You will maintain high cleaning standards across the home and support ward hygiene with careful handling of cleaning products and equipment.

The role requires good communication with residents, staff and visitors, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We offer guaranteed hours, paid breaks and a range of employee benefits.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months in a similar role.
• Healthcare experience and HIQA knowledge preferred.
• COSHH, RIDDOR and health & safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication; fluent English.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Clean all areas of the home, vacuuming, damp mopping and dusting to high standards.
• Ensure cleaning products/chemicals and equipment are used and stored safely.
• Report faults to the manager and check equipment/furnishings for cleanliness.
• Maintain confidentiality with residents, family and visitors.
• Handle all laundry and ensure laundry area is clean and safe.
• Follow health and safety regulations and report hazards promptly.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
