Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced Clinical Scientist to join the Nuclear Medicine section serving the Highlands, west Grampian and Western Isles. The post involves training of technologists and scientists, contributing to MSc projects and departmental research, and an active role in all Nuclear Medicine duties.

HCPC registration is required, with possible progression to Medical Physics Expert in Nuclear Medicine.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Ideally entitled as Medical Physics Expert in Nuclear Medicine.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered at a lower grade with local training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide Nuclear Medicine services as part of the Medical Physics team.
• Train technologists and Clinical Scientists on the Scottish scheme.
• Contribute to MSc projects and departmental research.
• Involve in all aspects of the Nuclear Medicine work.
