Signacare New Ross Nursing Home in New Ross, Co. Wexford, invites applications for a Staff Nurse. The role requires a Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration and a commitment to person-centred care for our residents.
You will deliver high-quality nursing care, manage detailed care plans, administer medications, and lead a shift team while supporting residents’ independence and well-being in a HIQA-compliant environment.
Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration.
- Experience in elderly care and person-centred approach.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsabilités
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with NMBI standards.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Administer medications safely and accurately according to policy.
- Monitor and respond to changes in residents' conditions.
- Lead, support and supervise care staff on shift.
- Promote independence, dignity and quality of life for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, GPs and the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure accurate, timely and confidential clinical documentation.
- Maintain HIQA compliance and best practices.
