Job summary

Sysco Galway Distribution Centre is seeking a Night Loader to assist with loading and unloading stock, and preparing delivery vehicles for drivers. You will perform order picking, maintain clear communication with supervisors, and uphold QA food safety standards.

The role requires good interpersonal skills, strong organisation, and the energy to work through night shifts. You will contribute to safe, efficient operations and team collaboration across departments.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, self-motivation, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of endurance, energy and drive to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles with stock.
• Prepare delivery vehicles for drivers and order picking.
• Maintain communication with operations supervisors and managers.
• Adhere to QA food segregation and health & safety standards.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping; report damages or issues.
