Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc in Ireland is seeking a Night Supervisor to ensure smooth, safe night operations and the highest level of guest service across our Galway properties.

You will oversee night audit processes, guest relations, and night porter supervision, while contributing to a strong team culture through our Dalata Academy development programmes and internal progression opportunities.

The role emphasizes initiative, collaboration and delivering outstanding hospitality during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous nights or hotel reception experience is essential.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a customer/guest-facing position.
• Good computer skills; knowledge of Opera would be an advantage.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee & delegate work to others.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night and to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Guest relations.
• Responsible for overall health & safety at night, including fire walks, security checks, and any other relevant health & safety duties, e.g. first aid.
• Performed front Office duties, including running the night audit report and checking and check-out guests.
• Supervising the night porter.
• Food & Beverage service at night.
• Ensuring meeting rooms are set to the correct standard.
• Contribute to the efficient running of the hotel.

What You Will Need:
