Job summary

You will manage performance, plan labour, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, communication and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong people-management skills and coaching abilities.
• Clear focus on safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night-shift operation, set priorities and ensure safe, efficient work.
• Manage day-to-day team performance: attendance, productivity, coaching, reviews.
• Monitor KPIs, identify underperformance and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a safety culture with standards, procedures, and incident reporting.
• Plan labour and resources to meet demand and service commitments.
• Deliver shift briefings and performance dialogues, encourage ideas.
• Identify training gaps; maintain training records and inductions.
• Respond to issues and provide practical solutions.
• Maintain site security and support measures.
• Support audits and continuous improvement, update procedures.
