Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a registered nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families in the Surgical Unit 1. The role supports a 24/7/365 operation with a night shift and a 36-hour work week.

As the RN, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, delegate tasks, and collaborate with licensed practical nurses and support staff to maintain high reliability and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from Ohio and/or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient health status and plan care.
• Document planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care and adjust plans with the team.
• Lead process improvements to enhance quality and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in 24/7/365 operations in Surgical Unit 1.
