Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery Unit. The RN will provide general nursing care to patients and families in a 24/7 acute care setting, performing assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Minimum qualifications include an Ohio RN license (or compact), BLS, BSN after 5 years, C-EFM within a year, NRP, weekend/holiday rotation, and on-call duties. Night shift, 24 scheduled hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from Ohio or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.
• C-EFM within 1 year of higher.
• NRP certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Initial and ongoing health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Document planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluate response and adjust plan of care.
• Leadership - Participate in process improvement for quality, safety and satisfaction.
• Operations - Manage day-to-day unit operations.
