Job summary

donnelly fresh foods in Ireland is seeking a Night Shift Hygiene Supervisor to lead the Hygiene Team on the night shift, ensuring cleaning, sanitisation and verification to GMP, HACCP and BRCGS standards for high-care and general areas.

Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, you will manage attendance and training, coordinate deep-cleaning and audits, monitor KPIs (ATP, swabs, cleaning completion) and promote a strong food-safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Hygiene Supervisor or similar leadership role in food manufacturing.
• Experience supervising night-shift operations is essential.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Experience in a BRCGS-certified environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate night shift hygiene activities across all areas.
• Ensure cleaning schedules and sanitation tasks are completed on time.
• Verify cleaning standards before handover to production.
• Support audits and corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
