Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Dundalk, County Louth, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a permanent night shift (7pm–7am, Mon to Wed). The role covers machine changeovers, breakdowns, preventative maintenance and GMP-compliant operation to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have an Advanced Certificate or engineering degree, 4 years’ experience, and proven leadership. Flexibility to work across shifts and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced certificate or degree in engineering or related field.
• 4 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Proven track record of delivering results through leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet targets.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Carry out routine maintenance and keep equipment in GMP-compliant condition.
• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Program PLCs and participate in improvement projects.
• Design, develop and implement engineering improvements.
• Create MOCs and manage through the QMS.
• Assist with training of colleagues.
• Perform machine set-ups and changeovers to target times.
