Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Security Officer based at a corporate client site in Galway. This full-time role involves night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 with a pay rate of €15.41 per hour and a €20 night allowance.

PSA licence is required to ensure a professional security service is delivered across all site activities. You will act as an ambassador for the company, manage access control, CCTV operations, and incident reporting while providing excellent customer care to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for Bidvest Noonan and the on-site client.

• Oversee opening and closing procedures and mobile patrols.
• Liaise with management on security issues and incidents.
• Provide high-quality customer care to visitors and staff.
• Manage car park and traffic flow as required.
• Respond to emergencies and support services as needed.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security Officer based at one of our corporate clients in Galway.

Position: Full Time

Hours: Weekday Night shifts 19:00 - 07:00

Rate of Pay : €15.41 p/h & €20 night allowance

We require Officers to be PSA licenced.

The Security Officer role is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.

Key Duties

• Act as an ambassador for the company
• Follow on site security requirements including access control and CCTV
• Report any security events in the onsite log
• Access control
• Visitors first point of contact
• Deal with emergency situations, supporting emergency services as required
• Complete the onsite paperwork in a clear format
• Liaise with Bidvest Noonan Management regarding any security issues or problems
• Customer Care experience
• Oversee building open up/lock up procedure and mobile patrols
• Car park and traffic management

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures
• Ability to work with confidential and classified information
• 5-year verifiable history
• Valid Visa to work in Ireland on a full-time basis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
• Customer/Client focused
• Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations
