RecruitNet International Ltd is recruiting a Neurophysiologist for a hospital in Dublin, Ireland. You will perform neurophysiological investigations, record and interpret results, and communicate findings to clinicians.

You will maintain equipment, participate in quality initiatives, and support infection control and safety policies. The role requires a strong background in neurophysiology, with neurology testing expertise, and an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

• BSc in Clinical Measurement (TU Dublin/DIT) or equivalent recognised by IICMS.
• Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MMPM) or equivalent recognised by IICMS.
• ECNE Part 1 from EPTA, UK or equivalent Level 8 qualification recognised by IICMS.
• Good general knowledge of neurophysiology testing.
• Experience in nerve conduction studies; sleep-deprived EEG is desirable.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-centred approach with empathy.

Mansioni

• Perform neurophysiological investigations using appropriate techniques and equipment to support diagnosis, treatment and care of patients.
• Record, measure, and monitor neurophysiological activity as requested by the Consultant, ensuring accurate results and measurements.
• Explain examination procedures to patients and guardians, obtaining informed consent before testing.
• Communicate with Consultants, General Practitioners and hospital staff regarding patient requirements and clinical findings.
• Ensure timely completion and delivery of investigations while maintaining records.
• Maintain, clean, and calibrate equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and infection prevention procedures.
• Ensure a safe working environment, report incidents, and support investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage departmental supplies by ordering, storing, and maintaining stock according to policy.
• Keep up to date with neurology/neurophysiology developments and undertake training and meetings.
