Job summary

The Hermitage Clinic in Lucan, Co. Dublin, Ireland is hiring a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology department on a permanent basis.

The role focuses on performing and interpreting ECGs and stress tests, monitoring blood pressure, and gaining experience with Holter monitoring and pacemakers in a state‑of‑the‑art private hospital setting. The successful candidate will contribute to quality patient care, maintain accurate records, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Measurement or equivalent.
• Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (old system) or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in a busy Cardiology department with experience in cardiac pacing and Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory or echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the efficient and effective delivery of services for the Hermitage Clinic.
• Perform and interpret ECG and Stress tests while demonstrating competence in BP monitoring and analysis and Holter monitoring and analysis; understand pacemakers and defibrillators and echocardiography.
• Maintain accurate storage and filing of clinical reports and ensure equipment is clean and well maintained.
• Communicate effectively with Medical Consultants, Clinical Nurse Managers and other hospital staff to ensure safe, efficient management of the Department.
• Contribute to development of services to improve patient care and participate in annual service reviews and reporting.
