Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Level 2 Network Engineer to uphold and improve our enterprise and data-centre network infrastructure in Ireland. You will diagnose incidents, troubleshoot routing and switching, and implement approved changes to maintain performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with Level 3 teams, vendors, and cross-functional groups, documenting configurations and adhering to security and change-management standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years of related network experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, DNS and VMs.
• Ability to build productive relationships and exercise sound judgement.
• Familiarity with CDNs and server hardware relevant to performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for enterprise and data-centre network infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve network incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewalls and network issues.
• Monitor infrastructure, respond to alerts, and perform approved changes.
• Maintain network documentation and participate in change-management processes.
• Coordinate with Level 3 teams, vendors, and cross-functional groups.
