Job summary

EZ Living Furniture is seeking a Nationwide Facilities and Property Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of 25 locations across the island of Ireland, with regular site travel for audits and upkeep. You will manage a facilities team, coordinate contracts, and ensure high standards of service while maintaining strong relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 years previous experience of Facilities Management, ideally in a retail/logistics environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time management skills with the competence to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage our facilities team and all outsourced work.
• Schedule routine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as required, with sourcing & cost management for the facility.
• Manage facilities contracts such as general facilities, utilities and security - developing and maintaining relationships with contractors/suppliers.
• Ensure delivery of services to the site including management of contractors ensuring high standard of service delivery.
• Maintain roofing and facades electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning and landscaping on the premises.
• Plan and supervise facilities related projects, including building improvements and renovations.
• Ensure compliance with legislative health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with staff regarding facilities requirements.
• Evaluate services or problems by identifying risks and ensuring smooth continuance of business functions.
• Prepare facilities for internal & external audits.
• Travel regularly to all sites to carry out audits & schedule maintenance tasks.
• Regular reporting of KPIs on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Conduct rent reviews.
• Manage building insurance.
• Manage a property portfolio for rental/leasing.
