Job summary

Ifac Ireland is inviting placement students to join our team to gain hands-on experience alongside Partners and specialist departments in a Top Ten accountancy firm. You will be mentored by experienced Accountants, Tax Advisors, Auditors, Consultants, and Financial Planners while receiving robust training and support.

The role offers a clear pathway from Placement Programme to our Graduate Programme, with opportunities to learn about accounting processes, standards, and tools used daily.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Highly organised with excellent time-management abilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing financial documents such as invoices, reports, and accounts.
• Help with data entry, bookkeeping, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support the team with tasks related to tax returns, audits, and budgeting.
• Work with spreadsheets and accounting software to organise financial information.
• Communicate with clients and team members to clarify financial details.
• Learn about accounting processes, standards, and tools used in daily work.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and mentorship activities.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance or accounting team.
