Job summary

Vacancies is seeking compassionate Live-in Caregivers for our premium live-in care service. You will reside in the client's home and provide non-medical support to help clients live safely and independently.

Candidates should have QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, plus online training through HSELand and the Company Academy during recruitment. A full, clean EU driving licence is desirable, and a minimum six months of recent hands-on care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
• Completion of mandatory online training through HSELand and the Company Academy during the recruitment process
• Attendance at mandatory in-person Patient Moving & Manual Handling Training with the Company's trainers in Ireland before commencing work
• A full, clean EU driving licence (desirable)
• Minimum six months of recent hands-on care experience in live-in care, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings
• Ability to pass all required background checks, including Garda Vetting where applicable
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
• A valid EU Passport, National ID Card, or Stamp 4 permission valid for at least 12 months
• Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Forms, and other digital platforms used during recruitment, onboarding, and employment

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and companionship in clients' homes.
• Assist with daily activities and mobility as needed.
• Ensure client safety and report changes to supervising team.

Job description

The Company is currently seeking compassionate and motivated Live-in Caregivers for our premium live-in care service.

Our dedicated Live-in Caregivers provide a range of non-medical services, enabling clients to continue living comfortably and independently in their own homes. These services enhance clients' quality of life, and our Caregivers approach their work with dignity, professionalism, compassion, and respect.

As a Live-in Caregiver, you will reside in the client's home and work on a scheduled rotation. Typically, this consists of an 8-week rotation on duty followed by an 8-week rotation off duty.

Candidates should possess:

• QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Completion of mandatory online training through HSELand and the Company Academy during the recruitment process before receiving an employment contract
• Attendance at mandatory in-person Patient Moving & Manual Handling Training with the Company's trainers in Ireland before commencing work
• A full, clean EU driving licence (desirable)
• Minimum six months of recent hands-on care experience in live-in care, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings
