Job summary

Evergreen Talent Group is seeking an experienced MV Commissioning Engineer to support testing, energisation and handover of MV electrical systems on a major data centre project in Dublin. You will coordinate across MV switchgear, transformers, protection relays and associated infrastructure under the guidance of the Commissioning Manager.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering; MV commissioning experience.
• Experience with MV switchgear, transformers, protection relays and MV cabling.
• Experience with safe switching, LO/TO and permit-to-work.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams and protection studies.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute MV testing and commissioning procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate MV switchgear, transformers and distribution systems commissioning.
• Manage insulation-resistance, continuity, phasing and cable testing.
• Coordinate testing with vendors, utilities and client representatives.
• Record results and drive resolution of any faults or anomalies.
