Job summary

Depaul is seeking a Maintenance Worker for a 6 Month FTC to carry out day-to-day maintenance across Dublin services. The role requires coordinating outsourced repairs, driving company vehicles (Cat B) and ensuring safety compliance. 35 hours per week with a salary of €36,050 per annum.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, planning maintenance, and logging completed repairs. The post involves flexible duties and collaboration with Housing Managers and other staff.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ hands-on maintenance experience in property/building environments.
• Skilled in basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, cleaning, glazing, plastering and general repairs.
• Full clean Cat B driving licence with regular van duties.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling training are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance on Depaul properties; outsource specialist works as needed.
• Drive company vehicle within Cat B licence scope.
• React promptly to urgent building or maintenance matters.
• Inspect grounds, facilities and equipment for repairs or maintenance needs.
• Assist with planning and coordinating outsourced maintenance and health & safety compliance.
• Source materials, prepare venues and oversee works on projects.
• Log all repairs and report issues to line manager.
• Support colleagues on property-related activities.
