Job summary

Stryker Group in Ireland is seeking a Maintenance Technician on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support manufacturing lines across shifts. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, interpret drawings, and drive continuous improvements while ensuring GMP and EH&S standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain CAFM records, and assist with new plant installations, contributing to equipment uptime and quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation or manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a regulated environment for maintenance/engineering.
• Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, automation advantageous.
• Ability to read schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong problem solving and numerical skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and technical support to manufacturing lines per shift.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues; coordinate external service when needed.
• Maintain CAFM system records and ensure timely closure.
• Support installation of new plant and equipment.
• Ensure GMP, EH&S compliance and 6S standards.
• Record incidents and maintain documentation.
