Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a Multi Skilled Trades Technician with a Plumbing Bias for the Raigmore Estates Department to carry out mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance of building services and equipment, supporting patient care.

The role requires a plumbing background, a valid UK driving licence, and a recognised plumbing qualification; experience with electrical systems and boiler plants is advantageous, plus flexibility for shift work and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Plumbing background is essential, but some training will be provided.
• A current UK driving license is essential.
• Applicants must have a recognised Plumbing qualification as detailed in the job description.
• Experience in electrical systems, steam boiler plant, pumps and ventilation systems within a health care environment would be advantageous.
• A great team player who is self-motivated and comfortable with remote working.
• A flexible approach to work is essential as variations to the standard working week may be necessary, to provide shift cover, and willing to participate in the on-call rota.
