Job summary

NHS Highland invites applications for a Multi Skilled Trades Technician at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. You will carry out mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance of building services, plant and equipment to support excellent patient care.

Applicants must hold a recognised qualification, have a UK driving license, and be a strong team player who is self‑motivated and prepared for on‑call duties (1:6).

At NHS Highland we have a full-time vacancy within our Estates Department for a Multi Skilled Trades Technician covering Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.

The successful candidate will carry out mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair of building services, plant and equipment, which contributes to the provision of excellent patient care.

What We Are Looking For

• Mechanical fitter/heating engineer(multi skilled)
• A current UK driving license is essential.
• Applicants must have served a recognised qualification as detailed in the job description.
• Experience in heating services, boiler plant, pumps and ventilation systems within a health care environment would be advantageous.
• A great team player who is self-motivated and comfortable with remote working.

A flexible approach to work is essential as variations to the standard working week may be necessary, to provide shift cover, and willing to participate in the 1:6 on-call rota.
