Job summary

Tarmac is recruiting a Multi Skilled Operative to join the Hillwood Asphalt Plant in Newbridge. The role involves day-to-day operations of fixed or mobile plant, ensuring quality material and on-time deliveries while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have industrial plant experience, good communication, and a flexible approach to production needs. Training will be provided for the right candidate, with opportunities for skill development and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial, factory or similar environment as an operative.
• Good timekeeping and flexibility to meet unit requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Line Management.
• Full UK Driving Licence and IT literacy

Responsibilities

• Operate fixed or mobile plant and support daily production targets.
• Mix asphalt to specification and help ensure on-time deliveries.
• Assist in maintenance and ensure plant availability.
• Follow Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies at all times.
