Job summary

Vision Contracting Cork is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large projects or multiple sites, ensuring adherence to company processes, deadlines, and budgets. The role requires leadership of on-site teams and coordination with clients, sub-contractors, and internal staff to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The position emphasizes HSE standards, design development oversight, and close collaboration with the Contracts Manager to achieve programme and commercial targets.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Trade qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant studies or certifications related to contractual management or other role-specific areas.
• Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or civil engineering industry.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Clients, Sub-contractors, Senior Engineer, Foreman, and Quantity Surveyor.
• Take responsibility for successful delivery of the project through leadership and management.
• Management of Design Team relationships and design development processes.
• Manage sub-contractors, engineering, and operational staff on site.
• Plan weekly work programmes and produce weekly progress reports.
• Oversee the site team to meet key milestones and budgets.
• Work with the Contracts Manager to align site programme with commercial objectives.
• Maintain a strong Health & Safety culture on site.
• Attend and chair weekly management meetings.
• Oversee day-to-day lifecycle from start to handover.
