Job summary

Frylite Solutions is seeking a reliable driver for multi-drop deliveries of fresh cooking oil and the collection of used oil from customers daily. You will load and unload, plan routes and complete delivery paperwork.

Requirements include a valid Car Licence (B), good knowledge of Northern Ireland and surrounding areas, flexibility for variable start times and occasional Saturday work, plus experience with handheld invoice systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries of fresh cooking oil and collect used oil from customers daily.
• Load and unload vehicles as part of daily delivery operations.
• Plan delivery routes and complete delivery and collection paperwork.
• Deliver and assist HGV drivers on 2-person routes.
• Build strong customer relationships and relay customer queries to Frylite teams.
• Stock control and invoicing.
• Report accidents, near misses, injuries and spills; complete paperwork.
• Safety checks on vehicles to ensure fit-for-purpose and secure.
• Wash Frylite Solutions vehicles and keep them clean.
• Other duties as requested by the Distribution Manager.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of fresh cooking oil and providing a collection service of used cooking oil from customer services daily.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently as part of daily delivery operations.
• Plan delivery routes and complete all necessary delivery and collection paperwork.
• Carrying out deliveries as well as assisting HGV drivers on 2 person routes.
• Building excellent customer relationships and providing feedback of customer queries to wider Frylite Teams.
• Stock control & invoicing.
• Reporting of accidents, near misses, injuries, and spills. Ensuring all digital and hardcopy paperwork is completed.
• Compliance and safety: Carrying out vehicle checks ensuring your vehicle is for purpose and secure always.
• Responsible for washing of Frylite Solutions vehicles and ensuring vehicles are kept clean.
• Carry out any other duties as requested by the Distribution Manager.
• Valid Car Licence (B licence)
• Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland and Surrounding area
• Experience carrying out multi-drop deliveries
• Ability to demonstrate how you can be flexible to accommodate variable start & finish times and occasional Saturday work

• Manual handling knowledge
• Ability to demonstrate evidence of customer care in a previous role.
• Experience of using handheld invoice systems
• Willingness to work towards obtaining C licence
