Job summary

Molloy Metal Recycling Ltd in County Wexford is seeking two experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle Technicians to join our workshop team. You will service, diagnose and repair a modern fleet of HGVs, ensuring high safety and reliability standards.

Applicants should have proven experience as an HGV technician or commercial vehicle technician, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We offer a 40-hour week, €42,000 per year, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Excellent mechanical, electrical and repair skills.
• Good understanding of modern HGV electronic systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and wiring faults.

We are seeking two experienced HGV Technicians / Mechanics to join our professional workshop team, maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles.

The successful candidates will be capable of carrying out all aspects of modern commercial vehicle maintenance and repair, including servicing, diagnostics, electrical fault-finding, engine repairs and driveline maintenance.

You will have experience using diagnostic equipment and the ability to identify the root causes of faults and carry out effective repairs across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.

This role will suit technicians who take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy solving technical challenges and are confident working across the complete vehicle rather than specialising in just one area.
