Job summary

Molloy Metal Recyling Ltd in Wexford seeks two experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle Technicians to join their workshop team. You will maintain and repair a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles, carrying out servicing, diagnostics and fault-finding across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.

The role suits technicians who take pride in quality workmanship and are confident working across the complete vehicle, not restricted to a single area. Driving license would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience working on heavy goods vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose electrical faults and perform testing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
• Perform engine, transmission, braking, suspension and driveline repairs.
• Diagnose and repair wiring and electrical system faults.
• Complete all work to manufacturer and workshop standards.
• Maintain high standards of workshop safety and compliance.

On behalf of our client Molloy Metal Recyling Ltd, Tomgarrow, Ballycarney Co Wexford are seeking two experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics to join our professional workshop team, maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles.

The successful candidates will be capable of carrying out all aspects of modern commercial vehicle maintenance and repair, including servicing, diagnostics, electrical fault-finding, engine repairs and driveline maintenance. You will have experience using diagnostic equipment and the ability to identify the root causes of faults and carry out effective repairs across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.

This role will suit technicians who take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy solving technical challenges and are confident working across the complete vehicle rather than specialising in just one area.
