Job summary

FBD Holdings PLC is seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to drive profits in motor schemes. You will assess risks, approve cases within authority levels, and nurture partner relationships to support growth objectives.

The role requires a CIP qualification and at least 2 years of underwriting experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills. A hybrid work arrangement is available with a focus on delivering quality service.

Qualifications

• Professional insurance qualification to CIP level or higher.
• Minimum 2 years as an Insurance Underwriter.
• Strong underwriting instincts and risk assessment.
• Ability to communicate rationale clearly and document decisions.

Responsibilities

• Execute Motor Schemes strategy to improve account performance.
• Underwrite cases within Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA).
• Develop relationships with scheme partners to grow business and provide quality service.
• Collaborate with Motor Class Lead to meet portfolio objectives.
• Participate in training and QA activities to support a high-performance culture.
