Job summary

Irish Red Cross is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator to lead ME across migration programmes. You will design and oversee ME frameworks, ensure high-quality data collection, and support evidence-based learning for informed decision-making and programme improvement.

The role reports to the Head of International Migration and requires strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills within a hybrid work arrangement in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Fluent levels of English, written and conversational.
• Five years’ experience in refugee support or housing monitoring.
• Knowledge of major evaluation methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods) and data collection/analysis.
• Proven experience in preparing comprehensive ME reports.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop the ME framework for project ME systems in collaboration with programme and IT/Data colleagues.
• Provide guidance on SMART objectives, logic models, monitoring frameworks, and evaluation plans.
• Ensure programmes collect accurate data for programme management.
• Support design and development of new programme initiatives with ME components.
• Support IT/Data team to enhance monitoring systems and data collection.
• Analyse data for accuracy and identify data quality issues.
• Support tracking tools against key indicators and reporting for management and donors.
