GCS Recruitment is seeking a Modern Workplace Senior Consultant in Dublin to join a large international technology organisation. The role sits at the intersection of technology, customers and commercial conversations, focusing on Citrix and Modern Workplace capabilities.

You'll work with the Modern Workplace Lead on customer engagement, pre-sales, solution development and business growth, shaping how Modern Workplace capabilities are brought to market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience across Citrix, EUC or Modern Workplace technologies.
• Strong professional services / consulting background with direct customer engagement.
• Experience with pre-sales, solution design or business development.

Responsabilités

• Work with the Modern Workplace Lead to grow the practice and engage with customers.
• Join customer meetings and lead technical discovery and requirements sessions.
• Translate customer challenges into practical Modern Workplace solutions.
• Support pre-sales, proposals, presentations and Statements of Work.
• Contribute technical expertise to business development opportunities.
• Build relationships with customers as a trusted technical adviser.
• Lead the technical side of Modern Workplace projects from design through delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and engineering teams.
• Develop repeatable solutions, methodologies and service offerings.
• Support the development of the wider Modern Workplace capability.
• Produce solution designs, technical documentation and project deliverables.

Modern Workplace Senior Consultant

Location: Dublin, Ireland

The Opportunity

A large international technology organisation is growing its Professional Services function and is looking for a Modern Workplace Senior Consultant to join the team in Dublin.

This is a role for someone who sits comfortably between technology, customers and commercial conversations.

You'll bring strong technical knowledge across Citrix and the wider Modern Workplace landscape, while also working closely with the Modern Workplace Lead on customer engagement, pre-sales, solution development and business growth.

Rather than simply delivering projects, you'll have the opportunity to help shape how the organisation takes its Modern Workplace capabilities to market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work alongside the Modern Workplace Lead to develop and grow the practice

• Join customer meetings and lead technical discovery and requirements sessions

• Help identify customer challenges and translate them into practical Modern Workplace solutions

• Support pre-sales, proposals, presentations and Statements of Work

• Contribute technical expertise to business development opportunities

• Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted technical adviser

• Lead the technical side of Modern Workplace projects from design through to delivery

• Work closely with project managers, architects and engineering teams

• Help develop repeatable solutions, methodologies and service offerings

• Support the development of the wider Modern Workplace capability

• Produce solution designs, technical documentation and project deliverables

Your Technical Background

We're looking for someone with strong experience in Citrix and Modern Workspace, particularly:

• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops

• Citrix Cloud / DaaS

• Citrix NetScaler / ADC

• FSLogix and Citrix Profile Management

• Active Directory and Group Policy

• Azure Files / Azure NetApp Files

• VDI storage and networking

• Citrix Director / Analytics

• Digital Employee Experience tooling

You'll ideally also have exposure to technologies such as:

• Azure Virtual Desktop

• Windows 365

• Microsoft Intune

• Microsoft Entra ID

• Conditional Access / MFA

• Omnissa / VMware Horizon

• Workspace ONE

• Nerdio

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience across Citrix, EUC or Modern Workplace technologies

• Strong professional services / consulting background

• Experience working directly with customers

• Confidence presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Exposure to pre-sales, solution design or business development

• Ability to understand a customer's problem and shape the right technical solution

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Comfortable taking ownership and operating with a high degree of autonomy

• A consultant who wants to influence the direction and growth of a practice, not just deliver tickets

Certification

Mandatory: Current Citrix certification such as CCP-V, CCE-V, CCA-AppDS or CCP-AppDS.

Desirable: AZ-104 and/or AZ-140
