Job summary

Eurofins Ireland Food Testing seeks a dedicated Service Centre Assistant to deliver improved customer service through planned shopping programmes, safe collection and transport of samples, and practical administrative support. The role runs Monday to Friday, with standard daily hours and a focus on timely reporting and efficient workflows.

You will manage sample receipt, registration, and accessioning, ensuring traceability and compliance, while supporting managers with issues affecting

Qualifications

• A clean driving license with no endorsements is preferred.
• Proficient on Microsoft Office programmes.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated and professional team player.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Collect products/samples from customers and supermarkets in a timely, friendly manner.
• Ensure samples are identified, stored and transported under correct conditions.
• Plan daily shopping activities to maximise productivity and return samples to the lab.
• Record information onto LIMS for samples analysed within Eurofins network.
• Handle customer enquiries by phone and email; provide admin support as required.
