Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Mobile Diagnostics Leader for the Laboratory Shared Services team. The role oversees the operation, staffing and compliance of mobile phlebotomy services delivered to facilities, homes, and health fairs.

You will mentor the team, ensure standardized practices, and partner with leadership to meet financial and quality goals. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a lab-science field, MLS/MT certification, and at least three years in a leadership role, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science from an accredited institution.
• Current MLS/MT certification.
• Two years’ laboratory experience and three years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and supports One Intermountain initiatives and best practices.
• Responsible for service line performance and regulatory compliance with safety initiatives and accrediting bodies.
• Partners with Lab Shared Services Director and Finance Analyst to develop budgets and manage resources.
• Oversees human resource functions including hiring, orientation and performance management.
• Ensures staffing, training, and annual competency assessment of caregivers.
• Promotes staff flexibility and cross training.
• Facilitates collaborative problem solving across departments and facilities.
• Rounds on laboratory caregivers and drives clinical quality goals.
