Job summary

Huawei Ireland Research Centre's Game Rendering Lab in Dublin seeks a Graphics Research & Developer to advance mobile graphics rendering on Harmony OS. The role involves researching, prototyping, and co-developing scalable solutions to boost performance and battery life for mobile games.

You will work with international researchers and engineers, collaborating with teams in China and partners, using cutting-edge tools to push graphics beyond current device capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals of shading, rasterization, and culling.
• Experience optimizing mobile CPU/GPU graphics.
• Hands-on experience with game engines and debugging tools.
• Experience translating research ideas into production code.

Responsibilities

• Research and prototype mobile graphics algorithms for games.
• Design and deploy graphics solutions to improve performance and battery life.
• Identify trends in mobile graphics from major conferences.
• Plan technical implementations and drive production integration.
• Collaborate with academia and industry partners to align with product goals.
