Job summary

Signify Technology in Dublin seeks a Mobile Development Manager to lead a squad responsible for consumer-facing iOS and Android apps. You will combine people leadership, technical guidance and delivery ownership to help the team deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

You’ll directly manage and develop iOS engineers, guide technical decisions and work closely with Product, UX, Quality Engineering and other technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and developing software engineers, including goal setting and career progression.
• Proven background delivering native iOS and Android apps and leading lifecycle work.
• Strong Agile practices, stakeholder communication and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop iOS engineers through regular 1:1s, coaching and performance conversations.
• Provide technical guidance across architecture, design, and delivery trade-offs.
• Partner with Product, UX, Quality Engineering to define requirements and priorities.
• Improve squad delivery with planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Own squad reporting, risks, blockers and improvement actions.
• Promote engineering excellence through testing, release readiness and observability.
• Contribute to mobile strategy, roadmaps and cross-team standards.
