Job summary

Sam Dennigan & Company uc., one of the largest Irish owned fresh produce and logistics companies based in North Co. Dublin, is recruiting for Bus Drivers for on-site roles in Oldtown. Flexible hours, morning and afternoon shifts, competitive pay, and immediate start are offered.

• Experience working in a chilled warehouse environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive bus safely on designated scheduled runs at allocated times and locations.
• Keep bus cab area clean, tidy and secure.
• Communicate effectively with passengers.
• Operate ticket machine accurately.
• Perform safety checks before each service for lights, indicators, doors and tyres.
• Ensure windows and doors are locked after service.
• Maintain a valid D licence and notify management of suspensions or faults.
• Familiarize with emergency and evacuation plans and report incidents.

Sam Dennigan & Company uc., one of the largest Irish owned Fresh Produce and logistics company based in North Co. Dublin, are currently recruiting for a number ofMini Bus Drivers.

Working Hours:

• Flexible weekly hours
• Morning and afternoon shifts available
• Competitive Rates of pay
• Immediate start for suitable candidates

Bus Driver duties including but not limited to:

• Driving legally and safely, in full compliance with traffic regulations.
• To ensure your bus cab area is kept in a safe and tidy condition at all times.
• Effective communication with passengers.
• To accurately use the ticket machine.
• Drive bus for designated scheduled runs at allocated times and locations.
• Conduct necessary safety checks before using vehicle to ensure correct operation of lights, indicators, reverse signals, safety doors, windscreen wipers, audible horn and tyres.
• At the end of each service ensure the bus is clean and tidy and windows and doors are securely locked.
• Maintain a valid Irish or European Driving Licence in the appropriate D category.
• Notify Management immediately of any suspension or conditions placed on your License.
• Notify Management of any faults or defects.
• To ensure a full understanding of emergency and evacuation plans.
• To ensure all safety accidents/incidents are reported using the company’s reporting procedure.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
