Job summary

DROMONE ENGINEERING LIMITED in Oldcastle, Co. Meath, invites applications for a skilled Welder. The role involves welding a range of materials (3mm–80mm) per drawings and welding specs, with a focus on quality, safety and timely delivery.

You will read engineering drawings, inspect welds, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining a clean, safe work area. A Level 6 welding qualification and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience in manufacturing
• Level 6 qualification in welding or related trade
• Fluent English and full B driving licence

Responsibilities

• Weld a range of materials and thicknesses from 3mm to 80mm
• Manufacture components in line with production drawings and welding specifications
• Ensure all work meets required quality standards prior to release to next production stage
• Carry out visual inspection of welds to ensure compliance with standards
• Immediately report any deviations or defects to the supervisor
• Maintain accurate shift handover communication with Team Leader
• Meet production targets and deadlines, working effectively under pressure
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the area
