Job summary

DBK Machinery Limited, based at Gortacollopa, Fossa, Killarney, Co. Kerry V93 CD6C, is seeking a Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will weld, assemble and repair metal components in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.

Main duties include MIG, MAG and TIG welding, reading drawings, preparing and aligning components, inspecting welds for quality, and maintaining welding equipment. Working hours are 39 per week; salary is €36,605 gross per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding and ability to read technical drawings.
• Welding to drawings/specifications.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, MAG and TIG welding as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
• Prepare, cut, align and assemble metal components for welding.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Comply with workplace health and safety procedures.
