Job summary

Storm Technology, part of the Littlefish Group, is expanding its Data & AI Practice in Dublin. We are seeking a Microsoft Forward Deployed Consultant who thrives on customer-facing delivery and cutting-edge Microsoft technologies to unlock Azure, AI, Fabric, and 365 value for clients.

You will move between discovery, architecture, prototyping, and delivery, shaping practical solutions and production-ready implementations across Azure, Fabric, Power Platform, and Graph.

Qualifications

• Strong consulting experience in customer-facing technology delivery.
• Ability to move confidently from discovery and architecture into hands-on implementation.
• Experience integrating cloud services with enterprise systems and data platforms.
• Solid understanding of security, governance, data protection, and production readiness.
• Confidence to work through ambiguity and make pragmatic, evidence-based decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build credibility with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embed yourself within customer teams to understand their business objectives, processes, data, and technology landscape.
• Translate complex and evolving business challenges into practical solution designs and delivery plans.
• Design and build proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and production-ready solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Work across Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, and Microsoft AI services.
• Integrate solutions with existing enterprise applications, data sources, identity platforms, and operational processes.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, testing, documentation, and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, data specialists, security teams, and key business stakeholders.
• Establish robust security, governance, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Support customers throughout deployment, adoption, and transition into ongoing operational support.
• Identify reusable patterns, accelerators, and best practices that can be leveraged across future customer engagements.
• Communicate technical, delivery, and commercial considerations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, helping them successfully adopt and scale Microsoft solutions that deliver measurable business value.

We're looking for a Microsoft Forward Deployed Consultant to join our growing Data & AI Practice . This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded consultant who thrives in customer-facing environments and enjoys turning complex business challenges into practical, high-impact technology solutions. Working at the intersection of consulting, architecture, and delivery, you'll help organisations unlock the value of Azure, AI, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric to drive real business outcomes.

The role and what you'll be getting up to on a day-to-day basis:

As a Microsoft Forward Deployed Consultant, you'll work closely with customers to understand their challenges, shape innovative solutions, and accelerate the delivery of business value through Microsoft technologies. This is not a traditional advisory role. You'll move seamlessly between discovery, architecture, prototyping, and delivery, helping customers take solutions from concept to production.

You will:

We're seeking someone who combines strong consulting expertise with hands-on technical capability and a passion for solving customer challenges.

• React, Angular, or similar modern web frameworks

• DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment practices

You’ll also have:

It would be great if you also have experience with:

• Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, MCP, or related technologies.
• GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Delivering solutions within regulated, public sector, or security-sensitive environments.
• Microsoft certifications across Azure, Security, Fabric, Power Platform, or Microsoft 365.
• Taking early-stage prototypes through to supported production services.
• Pre-sales, solution estimation, and technical proposal development.
• Deliver measurable customer outcomes rather than simply technical outputs.
