Job summary

Metrology Engineer – Westport, Ireland – initial 12-month contract in life sciences. Located near Westport, the role focuses on supporting a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with emphasis on metrology and batch release activities.

Responsibilities include analytical support for moulded component batch release, creating and reviewing metrology reports, and maintaining measurement systems to ensure optimum performance. Experience in regulated environments is valued.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Ordinary Degree (Level 7) in Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Strong experience as a Metrology Technician or similar in combination products or a highly regulated industry

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for moulded component batch release as and when required.
• Create and review Metrology reports as required in support of moulded component batch release and engineering study development.
• Maintain & troubleshoot measurement systems to ensure their continued optimum performance.
• Contentious improvement metrology systems and processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
